Have you ever wanted to spend a summer in the beautiful outdoors?  Do you like to learn new skills, then turn around and teach them?  Do you like meeting and making friends from different countries, cultures, or just another part of the city/state you live in? Do you have an interest in mentoring or being a great role model to the youth we serve?

You are in the right place! Camp Shaver provides you with these opportunities while giving you a chance to grow and challenge yourself as well.  Staff who work at camp practice skills like Leadership, Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Resilience.   All of these skills are relevant to moving forward in life professionally and personally.

At Camp Shaver we work Sunday – Friday mentoring and providing good role models for the campers.  We go on adventures both mentally and physically in our amazing natural world.  Our open air cabins offer a rustic and comfortable place to rest in between games, songs, arts, sports, hiking, archery, ropes course, rock climbing, and adventures.

We provide our staff with food, housing, and uniforms with no extra fees.  Our wages exceed industry standards, and we do our best to make sure our staff members walk away having learned or grown just as much as our campers.  Camp will never be the highest paying job but the memories and growth that happen here will serve you for the rest of your life.
