Kraken Swim Team

Come and Join the YMCA’s Kraken Swim Team located at the McLeod Family YMCA!

The Kraken swim team offers youth the chance to experience the enormous health benefits of swimming while enjoying the fun, excitement, and character lessons that come with being a member of a competitive swim team. As a part of the Sundance League, the YMCA will compete with 8 other teams in the greater Albuquerque area May through July.

Swim meets will be taking place weekly

Age Groups:

8 & Under
9 – 10 years old
11-12 years old
13-14 years old
15-18 years old

Pricing:
Members: $150 / Swimmer (Requires active family / single parent family membership)
Plus $30 Sundance Fee for All Swimmers

Call for non-member rates.

Preseason practice: May 3rd – May 24th

Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 8:30AM

Regular Season Practice: May 30th – July 14th
All age groups will practice Monday thru Friday. See the schedule below:

8 & Under / 11-12 year olds
Monday, Wednesday, Friday Mornings
9:00AM – 10:00AM

13 & up
Monday, Wednesday, Friday Mornings
10:00AM – 11:00AM

All Groups
Tuesdays & Thursdays
4:30PM – 7:00PM

Practice Durations:

8 & Under: 30 Minutes
9-10 & 11-12: 45 Minutes
13-14 & 15-18: 60 Minutes
