Yoga Nidra Guided Body Scan Relaxation for Deep Awareness

What happens in Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness is different from meditation, in which concentration on a single focus is required.
This state of practice is designed to produce a state of total body relaxation to induce restfulness for your body and mind. This is a great practice to reduce stress and manage stress and anxiety.
The guided Yoga Nidra lasts about 40 minutes with an additional 20 minutes of silence at the end of the practice
When?
Sunday, January 16th from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at the McLeod Family YMCA Main Studio
