Randy Lowrance, CHAIR
I first got involved with the YMCA in Houston, Texas in the early 70’s. My wife worked for the Dad’s Club Branch as the Director of Programs and volunteered me to be a Basketball Coach. After three years coaching, I became the Basketball Commissioner for three years. I’ve had the privilege to coach soccer, be Clerk of the Course for swimming and a diving Judge through the years. I’ve been on the Santa Fe Board since 2000. What I find so amazing is the breadth of services the Y offers the community, children, and families. We truly are “So Much More”.

I serve as a member of the Board of the Santa Fe YMCA because I know that children need more than academics. At the Y, they get physical exercise, good nutrition, and guidance in social development. And, I know how hard the Y works to collaborate with other agencies which serve kids. The Y gives kids a leg up!
