Our Youth Basketball League is the largest youth basketball organization in New Mexico. The Y’s unique approach to youth sports emphasizes skill development, family involvement, character development, and low-competition. We always keep winning and losing in perspective.

We offer leagues year-round for boys and girls ages 6 – 17. The league is a 10-week program, guaranteeing 10 practices and 8 games.

OUTDOOR Non-Competitive League

The YMCA Basketball program offers our Non-Competitive League for youth ages 6-11 that want to learn the basics of the game. The summer season practices will be held at various city parks on Monday or Tuesday evenings.  Games will be held Wednesday and Thursday evenings.  

OUTDOOR Competitive League

The YMCA Basketball program returns with a fully competitive League for youth ages 8-17. The summer season practices will be held at various city parks on Monday and Tuesday evenings.  Games will be held Wednesday and Thursday evenings.  New Mexico High school rules apply.
