The YMCA of Central New Mexico’s Youth Sports program is open to children and teens, from age 3 to 17. Our Youth Sports are the starting point for many kids and teens to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives.
Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to play basketball or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.

The YMCA is a starting point for our youth to learn about becoming and staying active, while also gaining education on healthy eating habits that they will carry with them through the rest of their lives. Aside from the physical wellness benefits, attending these camps will allow the camper to form friendships and bonds with others that will last a lifetime.
The YMCA will host a number of specialty camps this summer for children between the ages 8 and 13. Early registration is a must. Camps will run from 9 am-4 pm.
Coaches are the heart of our Youth Sports program. We are pleased to offer a number of resources available to help our coaches and assistant coaches.
