Whether you’re new to fitness, a seasoned athlete, or somewhere in between you’ll get the individual attention, support and resources you need to commit to improving your health and well-being. At the Y, results are not just measured by how many pounds or inches you lose, there measured by how great you feel inside and out.

Dedicated Staff

Our staff is caring, knowledgeable and experienced. They are passionate about helping you achieve your fitness goals. They will guide and support you through our wide range of health and wellness programs, so you can find the workout regimen that fits your lifestyle. Once you find that program that suits your needs they will help you along the way.

Supportive Environment

When you join the Y, you’ll see that support doesn't just end with our staff; you'll meet other supportive people who have the same goals and interests as you. From work-out partners to lifelong friends the support and friendship you find at the Y is priceless. At the YMCA, we're not just a gym, we're a community.

Active Older Adults

Have fun while you move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and small ball are used in these classes for resistance. Chairs are available for seated and/or standing support.

SilverSneakers

Many insurance companies cover the cost of a YMCA membership for Medicare eligible people through the SilverSneakers Fitness Program. Check with your health insurance provider to see if they have as part of the benefit plan SilverSneakers.

Aerobics/Dance

It doesn’t matter if you are new to exercise or coming back we have a class to fit your style and fitness level. Group exercise is a great way for men and women to get moving, make friends and stay motivated.

Power Step, Prime Time Cardio, N.I.A, and even Zumba classes are here to maximize your workout potential in a fun group class.

Cycling

Sometimes called “Spinning” indoor cycling gives you the feel of the wind in your face as you imagine rolling up and down hills and valleys. Our cycling instructors are enthusiastic and will pass on their love of exercise.

Occasionally outdoor rides are scheduled.

Martial Arts

Learning the disciplines of martial arts reflect the Y’s core values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. These values are taught to you and your kids in our multi-level classes.

Please note, participation in some classes is limited based on age. We have classes for kids 4-9 years of age and classes limited to adults only.

Strength Training

Through our strength training classes, you will see a noticeable difference in your tone and shape. Our instructors practice what they preach and are committed to you becoming stronger with greater endurance.

It doesn’t matter if all you can currently lift is a loaf of bread we can accommodate you with our hand weights or resistance tubes.

Yoga

Finding balance in your everyday living is what we are hoping to accomplish with our mind/body classes. Pilates, yoga and PiYo (a combination of Pilates and yoga) will not only train you to be stronger in your body, but will nurture your spirit as we guide you through breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.
