The award itself is incredibly competitive, with every restaurant owner in the nation a potential candidate. Steve owns a restaurant called Scalo Northern Italian grill located on Nob Hill that he has graciously given back to the community through. In May of 2012, Steve took on the role of CEO of the YMCA of Central NM, where he again donated time, money, and encouragement and set the YMCA on a fast track to it's former glory.  So it is no surprise that a great man like Steve Paternoster received this award. He has an incredible, caring, loving, and giving nature. The YMCA of Central New Mexico, is proud to call him our CEO. Every day we get to work side by side with him is a blessing.
