Visitor Guidelines
Welcome to the YMCA of Central New Mexico! You can help make your visit more enjoyable by noting our guest policy:
Out-of-Town Guests
- Must be accompanied by a member
- A member may bring a maximum of 5 guests per visit
- Must live 100 miles outside of our service area and not a current YMCA member (see AWAY Program)
Please note, all YMCA of Central New Mexico centers are part of one association. So, a visit to one location counts as a visit to all centers.
Additionally, centers can restrict guest usage, hours of usage and area of usage with or without notice to ensure the safety and comfort of members.
We highly encourage members to contact the YMCA prior to visiting with a guest to inquire about any guest restrictions due to demands on the facility.
AWAY Program
If you are visiting YMCA of Central New Mexico from another Y, our guest policy is:
- First week of usage is free of charge (first day of usage triggers one-week period, remaining six days must be concurrent)
- AWAY members are considered 100 miles outside of our service area
If you are a local member and plan to visit another YMCA, it is a good idea to call that YMCA about visiting member policies. Local YMCA policies vary on the use of equipment, facilities, services and programs by visiting members from out-of-town or from nearby YMCAs.
